Here at the Castle Hill School of Motoring / Driving Instructor Training, we have over 26 years
of experience in the driver training industry.
Our Principal Instructor Steve Swinton A.D.I. is a Grade 6 (top grade) Driving Instructor. Since
1982 he has qualified as a DIAmond Advanced Instructor and Supervising Examiner, he is also listed at Grade 6 (top grade) on
the 'Ordit' Register (The Official Register of Driving Instructor
Trainers).
In addition to the above he is also a qualified further education teacher and trained in the
use of B.S.L (British Sign Language). Steve has been teaching drivers with hearing difficulties for over 15 years.
The Castle Hill School of Motoring / Driving Instructor Training, offers patient constructive 'L'
Test training to DSA test standard in modern well maintained Dual Control training vehicles.
Upon successful completion of the 'L' test, we offer 'Pass Plus' training
which is endorsed by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) and members of the British Insurance Industry. As
well as helping to reduce the risk of accidents, the Pass Plus scheme can offer new drivers substantial discounts
on insurance premiums. (Discounts may vary depending on status and insurance company)
For the more ambitious, we can offer training for the DIAmond
Advanced Driving test, or if you prefer the ultimate challenge, why not train for
the DIAmond Special test.
